They work

I was slow to the wool dryer ball scene—but I enjoy them so much I had to buy a set for my mother-in-law as well. These are incredibly effective when you are drying bulky items—like a load of sheets or towels that have a normal tendency to get a bit damp when they clump together. These balls don't really have a scent, and they won't stick to your clothes. The biggest thing I've found needing to watch for is that they get caught in the corner pocket of a fitted sheet. When I shake out the sheet, the ball rolls across the floor, and I have to beat my dog to it. I haven't used a single dryer sheet since I started using these.

Decided to try these since most of my clothes are the quick dri and the dryer sheets are not recommended. I normally add 4 to each load. I have one of the balls with lavender essential oil to use with certain items. It seems to help the most when doing sheets and bulky items as it can help them from getting bunched up. If it helps great and I do think it has to help at least little, as it is hard to really say. I will continue to add to dryer as it is an easy way to aid in drying. The material is soft enough where it will not harm clothes.

I got these wool dryer balls to replace a set that's probably 10 or 15 years old and has started shrinking down to nothing - and shedding. So far, these are working perfectly. They're slightly smaller than my original ones were, but they seem to be drying my clothes just as quickly. The fact that they're organic is important to me.My original ones were gray, and for some reason, those never seemed to shed or show on my clothes until they were dying. These only came in white, so that's what I got, and the first couple loads, I did notice a few white hairs on my mostly black clothing. It wasn't a big deal, it wasn't even enough to pull out the sticky roller, but just be aware that if you're washing something that's dark colored, and you need it right away, you’ll want to pay attention to that.I have no sense of smell, so I can't speak to that, but no one has mentioned that I smell of sheep, so I’m hopeful! I always put some lavender essential oil on the balls as soon as I get them and then throw them into the dryer. That worked on my last set, when I actually had a roommate who would have no problem whatsoever telling me if I smelled like sheep.Not super important, but I've always liked that these come in a little canvas bag instead of plastic. I ended up putting my old dryer balls into the bag to save in case I want to use them for a craft or something. If I end up not using them, I can always wash the little bag and use it when I'm grocery shopping in the bulk aisle.

I can not do laundry without these dryer balls. The clothes come out fluffy and without static all of the time. The clothes are drying faster as well. Love how clean this product is!
