The Facts Behind the Format
90%
Many liquid detergents are made up of around 90% water, requiring bulky plastic bottles to transport and store.
700 million+
More than 700 million plastic detergent bottles are discarded each year, with many never being recycled.
2×Too Much
Many people use around twice as much laundry detergent as needed. Overdosing can leave residue on clothes, create buildup in washing machines, and waste detergent and money.

Frequently Asked Questions
Product Information
• Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) – the water-soluble film that gives the sheet its structure and dissolves completely within seconds
• Sodium dodecyl sulfate – our primary cleaning agent, derived from coconut, which lifts everyday dirt and oil from fabric
• AOS (alpha olefin sulfonate) – works alongside our primary cleaning agent to boost cleaning performance
• Cocamidopropyl betaine – a coconut-derived surfactant that adds gentle cleaning power
• Alkyl polyglucoside (APG) – a plant sugar-derived cleaning agent that keeps the formula gentle
• 13-carbon isomer alcohol ether – helps water penetrate fabric fully, reaching every fibre
• Sodium citrate – derived from citric acid, softens water and helps keep colours bright
• Starch – a plant-based ingredient that helps hold the sheet's shape
• Silicon dioxide – keeps the sheet's texture consistent in storage
• Silicone oil – manages foam levels so the sheet rinses cleanly
• Sodium bicarbonate (bicarb soda) – a mild, natural alkali that helps lift everyday dirt
• Protease – a bio-based enzyme that breaks down protein-based stains like grass and food
Fragrance (Lavender only): lavender fragrance and a fragrance microcapsule that release scent gradually through the wash. Fragrance-Free sheets use the same base formula without these two.
Yes. Independent testing by SGS found our finished Laundry Detergent Sheets to be 65.9% biodegraded within 28 days under the OECD 301B test, above the 60% threshold used to assess biodegradability. The sheet's main ingredient, PVA, was separately tested by TÜV Thüringen and found to be readily biodegradable, reaching 91.6% biodegradation over the same period.
Each ingredient is supported by a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), which outlines safety, handling, and environmental information. When used as directed, the sheets are suitable for general household laundry use.
We offer both a lightly scented lavender option and a fragrance-free option. Customers who prefer to avoid added fragrance typically choose the fragrance-free version.
If you have specific skin sensitivities or allergies, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list prior to use.
One full sheet is designed for one standard load of laundry. For smaller loads, the sheet can be torn in half.
Place one sheet directly into the washing machine drum with your laundry. The sheet dissolves completely in hot or cold water during the wash cycle.
Yes. Match with Nature sheets are suitable for both standard and high-efficiency (HE) washing machines.
Yes. Dissolve part or all of a sheet in water and agitate to create a wash solution suitable for handwashing garments.
Yes. The sheets are formulated to dissolve in both hot and cold water settings.
When used as directed, the sheets dissolve fully in the wash cycle. Proper loading and water flow help ensure complete dissolution.

Match with Nature Wool Dryer Balls
Our dryer balls are made from 100% New Zealand wool. They contain no synthetic fillers, plastics, or added chemicals.
Wool dryer balls move freely between garments in the dryer, helping to separate fabric layers and improve air circulation. This can assist in drying efficiency and reduce clumping of clothes during the cycle.
Wool dryer balls provide a natural alternative to liquid fabric softeners and single-use dryer sheets. They help reduce static and soften fabrics through mechanical action rather than added coatings.
By improving airflow between garments, dryer balls may help improve drying efficiency depending on load size and dryer settings.
• Small loads: 3 balls
• Medium to large loads: 4–6 balls
Using more balls increases surface movement between fabrics.
With regular use, wool dryer balls can last for hundreds of loads. Their lifespan depends on frequency of use and dryer conditions.
Yes. Wool dryer balls are suitable for use in standard and condenser dryers. Always follow your dryer manufacturer’s guidelines.
Wool dryer balls do not contain added fragrance, softening agents, or chemical coatings. If you have wool sensitivities, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider before use.
Yes. If desired, you may add a few drops of essential oil to a dryer ball before use. Allow the oil to absorb fully and dry for several minutes before placing it in the dryer.
(Important: Never add oil directly to clothing.)
Minimal natural fiber shedding may occur during initial uses, which typically decreases over time.
Yes. They are designed to be reused across many drying cycles, reducing reliance on disposable dryer sheets.
Store in a dry, ventilated space between uses.
As they are made from 100% wool, they are biodegradable at end of life. Composting conditions vary depending on local systems.
(Notice we say biodegradable — not “certified compostable” unless you have certification.)
